No messing with torrent sites, no piracy, no BS! Just free Metal music, authorized for download by the copyright owners themselves.
The site posts demos, EPs, samplers, exclusive online singles, and free full album downloads. There are no links to files with restrictive DRM and very rarely a link to files that require site registration before downloading. Also, in support of the artist, full albums are not posted through MediaFire, RapidShare, etc., without a band’s approval.
Available albums are neatly categorized and can be searched by band name, sub-genre, or country of origin. At last count there were bands from 30+ Rock/Metal genres, spanning nearly 70 countries across the globe.
There are even links to other free & legal music download sites as well as links to Metal blogs/websites/webzines.

Forgot to mention how you use that addon.
What you do is, when you see the links, you hold down your left mouse button and go over them, so that they’re highlighted. Then you right-click anywhere on the screen and the context menu will show a “DownThemAll” option. Click it and only the links you selected will be on the list.(It’s always there, but if you click it without selecting, you get to select every link on the entire page). Check off the ones you don’t want, keep the ones you do want, select the folder and start the downloads. Loads of other settings in the preferences.

When a link is dead, please report it by saying so in a comment. The owner checks all comments and puts it up under the download-links that it’s no longer available.

Some downloads will be on Rapidshare, MegaUpload, etc…
For that, I recommend using jDownloader: http://jdownloader.org/
Which requires Java to be installed on your computer, but who doesn’t have that these days.
And some websites are flash site, which make it impossible to mass-download the files, so you’ll have to do it manually for those, but they’re a minority.
