Metal Music Promotions Present The Razer Dark Devotion Texas Tour
Independent music promoters, Metal Music Promotions, introduce Nu Groove Records recording artists, Razer, to The Great State of Texas.
Independent artist development and band promotion company, Metal Music Promotions, have announced the RAZER Dark Devotion Texas Tour 2010. The event, covering 9 dates in July, introduces the Arizona Rock/Metal powerhouse to the Great State of Texas.
Formed from the ashes of Wardog (Metal Blade Records), Razer quickly established themselves as one of the Phoenix area’s premier live acts, opening for such internationally recognized artists as Judas Priest.
The band also garnered the attention of music business professionals, resulting in singer Chris Powers being selected to sing “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Subsequently, bass player Chris Catero was asked to serve as touring bassist for ex-Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman on his European and Japanese tours, resulting in the live “Exhibit A: Live in Europe” CD and the “Exhibit B: Live in Japan” DVD.
Razer released their current album, Dark Devotion, to rave reviews on November 24, 2009. The album was produced by Chuck Alkazian and Matt Novesky from 116 Productions and distributed through Sony Red/NuGroove. It is now available at major music retailers across the USA or online worldwide.
